Message from the Vice President

.

Dear Friends of San Miguel,

We are ready to take on the new school year and make a difference in the lives of 354 young women and men of San Miguel High School. It's because of people like you that we are able to offer a quality, Lasallian education to our students who are committed to graduating and going to college so they can not only reach their full potential, but have the ability to help others.

There are many ways to support San Miguel students this year, we are planning several events such as our Scholarship Soirée this fall, our 3rd Annual Rising Stars Golf Tournament on February 7, 2020, as well as a new Alumni Young Professional Vipers networking mixer on April 23, 2020. We also kick off our Wine for Scholarships online sale beginning Saturday, August 31st along with our Welcome Class of 2023: Sponsor a Freshman campaign this fall. And as always, you can always recommend your private school tax credit in the spring to San Miguel High.

Finally, we have our 2023 Strategic Plan in place and ready to implement the beginning of what will be amazing growth for San Miguel. Please contact us if you are interested to sign up for one of our presentations scheduled throughout the year for “A Conversation with our President” to learn more from Dave Mason, our CEO/President, on the future of San Miguel. Our student ambassadors are waiting to give you a tour of their beloved campus!

I hope you will find your place in our mission and become engaged personally in our work. As we enter the year 2020, we created our own vision with this year’s theme to launch off the new decade for San Miguel…Enter with Potential, Leave Prepared. This will parallel with our permanent theme of Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve.

Feel free to contact me with your questions or would like to schedule a tour. I look forward to meeting with you and having you as part of the familia this year!

Blessings,

Paloma L. Santiago
