Who Should Attend
San Miguel High School will be offering summer courses for current freshmen, sophomore, or junior students who are interested in replacing a current grade of C, D, or F in English, Math, Science, Spanish, or Social Studies. Failing grades must be made up in summer school, but we encourage students who have earned D grades OR students with C grades who have been recommended by an adviser or to remediate those classes in summer school.
Summer School Dates
Two Sessions will be offered to students this summer. One semester course can be completed in each session.
Session A: June 3 – June 21, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Session B: July 8 – July 26, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Summer School Grades and Attendance
Students must attend summer school on campus and all coursework will be completed online.
Students with more than 1.5 absent days will be dropped from the summer school course.
All grades in summer school will be reported on the student’s transcripts. If the student earns a D or F grade, it will be reported on their permanent record.
One semester grade can be made up during a session. Two sessions are available to students.
Registration forms (see back) and payments will be accepted at the Front Office until all spaces are filled. Summer school space is limited and will be held for students on a first come, first serve basis so please turn in your forms as soon as possible. Registration forms and full payment amount are due by Thursday, May 23rd by 5 pm. Registration forms will only be accepted with full payment in order to reserve a space for your student. In order for a student to start their summer school course, the balance will need to be paid in full.
