Application Process

San Miguel High School accepts applications for freshmen, sophomore and junior students.

 

Applications Available Online or On-site

Incoming Freshmen

  1.      Apply:

        Complete an application form either in person or online. A non-refundable application fee of $65 should

        accompany the application form. Make payment in person at San Miguel High School

        (cash, check, or debit/credit).

  1.      Complete the following Checklist:
  •     Student Essay (Form included in Application Packet or Attachment below)
  •     7th & 8th Grade Transcripts (Request Form included in Application Packet or Attachment below)
  •     Three recommendation letters (Forms included in Application Packet or Attachment below)
  •     Copy of student’s birth certificate
  •     Copy of student’s immunization record
  •     Copy of latest tax return, W2’s, and/or income information

 

Student must be at least 14 years old by September 1, 2019

  1.      Entrance Exam (HSPT):

        Information on the next Entrance Exam provided once the application is completed.

  1.      Student & Parent Interview:
        Scheduled after the Entrance Exam is taken, checklist completed and academic requirements are met.
  1.      Admission Status:
        Notification will be given after the Student & Parent Interview is completed.
 
 
 

Transfer Students (10th & 11th)

  1. Attend Transfer Night: April 24, 2019 from 5:30 P.M. - 6:15 P.M.

             Student and parent must be present. Bring official or unofficial high school transcript (No exceptions).

 

            Once transcript is reviewed and approved for transfer, parent will be contacted to begin

            application process. 

  1. Apply:
