Application Process

We are no longer accepting applications for

the 2019-2020 school year.

 

 

 

 

Applications for class of 2024 will be available September 6, 2019.

Incoming Freshmen

  1.      Apply:

        Complete an application form either in person or online. A non-refundable application fee of $65 should

        accompany the application form. Make payment in person at San Miguel High School

        (cash, check, or debit/credit).

  1.      Submit the following documents with application:
  •     Student Essay (Form included in Application Packet or Attached to the right)
  •     Copy of student’s birth certificate
  •     Copy of student’s immunization record
  •     Copy of latest tax return, W2’s, and/or income information
 
        Required from student's current school: (Request Form included in Application Packet or Attached to the right)
  •     7th & 8th Grade Transcripts 
  •     7th grade AZ Merit or other standardized test
  •     3 recommendation letters (Forms included in Application Packet or Attached to the right)
  •     Attendance report
  •     Student conduct

 

Student must be at least 14 years old by September 1 of their 9th grade year

 

  1.      Entrance Exam (HSPT):

       Entrance ticket to exam will be provided once the application is submitted. 

  1.      Student & Parent Interview:
        Scheduled after the Entrance Exam is taken, documents submitted and academic requirements are met.
  1.      Admission Status:
        Notification will be given after the Student & Parent Interview is completed.

Transfer Students (10th & 11th)

  1. Apply:

              Complete an application form either in person or online. A non-refundable application fee of $65 should                        accompany the application form. Make payment in person at San Miguel High School (cash, check, or                          debit/credit).

 

  1. Submit the following documents with application:

  •      Three recommendation letters-(Forms included in Application Packet or Attached to the right)
  •      Official or unofficial high school transcript for 1st Semester 

 

  1. Attend Transfer Night: March 26, 2020  5:30 P.M. - 6:15 P.M.

             Student and parent must be present. If application and documents haven’t been submitted, please bring them                 to this meeting. This will be the last day to submit application with documents.  

 

  1. Student & Parent Interview

         Scheduled after application and documents are submitted.

 

  1. Admission Status:

         Notification will be given after the Student & Parent Interview is completed.
